Lemont A. Fountain is a celebrated culinary professional and entrepreneur whose passion for food and dedication to excellence have made him a respected name in the industry. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Lemont’s journey in the culinary arts began with inspiration from his family. With a lineage of chefs—his father, renowned for crafting signature seasonings, and his grandfather, an entrepreneurial chef—Lemont was destined to make his mark in the culinary world.

After graduating from Le Cordon Bleu in Orlando, Florida, Lemont honed his craft in kitchens across Jacksonville, Orlando, and his hometown of Columbus. His culinary expertise spans a range of services, including catering, child nutrition programs, food trucks, and culinary education.

As the co-owner and operator of Fountain Take II, a thriving restaurant and catering company, Lemont has become a cornerstone of Columbus’s culinary scene. His ventures include operating two food trucks, providing over 325 meals daily to schools, and offering cooking classes to youth and adults. Lemont’s innovative spirit also extends to consulting, where he collaborates with the Somalian community to help restaurants achieve success.

With certifications in ServSafe and an associate degree in Culinary and Applied Science, Lemont’s commitment to quality and safety is unmatched. His entrepreneurial drive is evident in his latest venture—a 4,000 sq. ft. restaurant space that promises to elevate the dining experience in Columbus.

Beyond the kitchen, Lemont is a visionary who seeks to uplift his community. He is actively developing a culinary curriculum for high school students, fostering the next generation of chefs. His dream of a food truck coalition in Columbus reflects his belief in collaboration and innovation as drivers of success.
